Rice to India-Buy Nuclear and stop Global Warming

In rationalizing the questionable legal transfer of nuclear technology to India, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was quoted to say, "..(The) deal would improve energy, security and by reducing India's reliance on fuel from Iran, help the environment by cutting its carbon emissions." Here is a spokesperson for the "oil" administration paradoxically calling for reducing green house gases by another sovereign state while conveniently ignoring the world’s largest producer of carbon dioxide-our own country. Recent research on the acidification of the oceans by the absorption of atmospheric carbon dioxide strongly suggests that the microscopic plankton at the base of the marine food change is in peril. A foremost government scientist believes the process of global warming is accelerating and is fast approaching critical mass. It has been for some time not a question of if global warming is occurring but rather how fast and is it reversible.
